A K-12 school in Hopkins, MN, is seeking a skilled Behavior Specialist with BCBA credentials to support students across all grade levels during the current school year contract. This role focuses on implementing effective behavioral interventions and collaborating with educators and families to promote positive student outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Provide direct support and coaching to students exhibiting challenging behaviors.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments.
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Train school staff on behavioral techniques and data collection procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required.
- Proven experience as a Behavior Specialist in K-12 educational settings.
